Features

The center offers comprehensive audio-visual and wireless technology.

The 96-seat lecture hall on the first floor has:

  • A podium with Crestron touch panel control
  • LCD projector
  • Sympodium
  • Desktop computer inside the podium
  • A podium that is laptop accessible
  • Desktop microphone for speaker
  • Wireless access
  • Wireless lapel microphone for speaker
  • Audio
  • The small conference room:
    • Downstairs has access for a laptop that can be displayed on a flat screen LCD TV. 
    • Upstairs - Microphone for video and computer should read Desktop microphone for speaker.
    • Both include Audio

All conference rooms (A,B,C and D) have podiums with:

  • LCD projector hookups
  • Desktop computer inside the podium
  • Laptop accessibility
  • Microphone for video and computer
  • Wireless access
  • Audio

Rooms 204 and 208 have podiums with:

  • Wireless handheld microphones for speakers.
  • Audio

Equipment Requests
Rental fees include full use of equipment in each room. If your event requires full-time technical support, we will be pleased to provide it at $50 per hour.

Audiovisual Equipment
The Conference Center has a variety of technical equipment available for use in the building. Please include your requirements on the Event Request Form. Rental fees include full use of existing equipment in each room. If your event requires full-time technical support during your event, an hourly rate of $50 will be applied.

Music
The Client may hire its own DJ or music group for events held outside of normal college business hours. All music must end by 11:30 p.m. DJ’s and music groups are responsible for all set-up and takedown of their equipment. All equipment must be removed from the building within 10 minutes of the scheduled end time. All music groups and DJ’s must be approved by the Coordinator, Conference Center & Community Engagement. All amplified sound must meet any applicable Davidson County noise ordinance. All music should be respectful of a college atmosphere and should be in keeping with the College’s educational mission. The college reserves the right to refuse to allow music that is vulgar, lewd or obscene.
